Mission Statement

The Lonoke County Library System will provide a safe, open, and educational environment for all of Lonoke County. Each branch of the LCLS promises to immerse itself in the community and to offer equal access to resources, current/future technologies, and educational lifelong learning to enhance each patron's quality of life.

Vision Statement

The vision of the Lonoke County Libraries is to provide the services required by both the patrons and staff to ensure the delivery of top-quality library services. This includes the maintenance of our online system with the implementation of upgrades and conversions as needed to provide real-time access to the bibliographic information about the System's collections and the use of appropriate telecommunications infrastructure. Also, the training of both staff and patrons in addition to the technology infrastructure and new services, and the examination of new technology and services to determine if they should be added to the library's technology systems.
